As you may be aware, effective January 1, 2026, BCBSMA will no longer cover GLP-1 medications when prescribed for weight loss. Coverage for diabetes-related use will remain in place.
We are working with BCBSMA to explore a possible solution that would allow individual banks to optionally add GLP-1 weight loss coverage at an estimated additional cost of 6%-10% above the 2026 renewal (note: final renewal rates are still pending).
To help inform these discussions, we're asking for your input. Please take a moment to complete this brief survey to let us know whether your bank would be interested in offering this coverage if it becomes available.
Take the Survey.
Your response is non-binding but will help us determine if there is sufficient interest to pursue this option further with BCBSMA.

    • Please send the CEO/Leadership letter by 4/30/2025 to qualify for the Ready, Set, Go! program.
    • There is a template letter (please feel free to tailor for your bank) attached. Once we receive a copy of the communication, it will take 2–3 weeks to receive your gift cards. 30 banks have already sent their letters out so far which is awesome!
  • March Registration Party – Thank you to all of those who attended and participated in the 2 sessions held earlier in March to kick off a registration campaign month. It was a great success 😊 Drum Roll Please… and the participant who registered on the ahealthyme site in March that was randomly chosen as the raffle winner is Yashira Diaz from Greenfield Cooperative Bank – they have a choice of either an Apple Watch or a Samsung Galaxy Watch.
