| As you may be aware, effective January 1, 2026, BCBSMA will no longer cover GLP-1 medications when prescribed for weight loss. Coverage for diabetes-related use will remain in place. |
| We are working with BCBSMA to explore a possible solution that would allow individual banks to optionally add GLP-1 weight loss coverage at an estimated additional cost of 6%-10% above the 2026 renewal (note: final renewal rates are still pending). |
