Important Update on ID Cards for 2025
Due to changes in copays for most plans this year, the majority of members will receive a new ID card for 2025. Dental ID cards, however, will remain unchanged and will only be issued to newly enrolled members.
To ensure timely delivery of new ID cards by January 1, 2025, please complete all enrollments by December 13th.
Important Notice: January 2025 Invoices
The January 2025 invoices will be generated on December 17th, 2024. To ensure your January invoices accurately reflect your plan enrollments, please update any changes in the system by midnight on December 13th. Changes made after this date will be reflected on the February 2025 invoices with retroactive adjustments applied to January.
For those working with the Electronic Enrollment team, please follow your designated Open Enrollment file dates.
Please note that BCBS cannot modify the invoice trigger date for January.
Reminder: Mail Order with Retail Choice Program
Members can save on the cost of their maintenance medications by switching to a 90-day supply and using the mail service pharmacy. The program permits two retail pharmacy fills for maintenance medications; on the third fill, members are automatically enrolled in the mail order pharmacy.
If members prefer to continue filling prescriptions at a retail pharmacy, they must call CVS to opt out of the mail order service. Please note that members need to opt out each calendar year, as this is a change from the previous program.
If members do not opt out, they will be responsible for paying the full retail cost of their medications. To opt out annually and continue using a retail pharmacy, members should contact CVS Customer Care at 1-877-817-0477 (TTY: 711).
