Program Overview
The Association is pleased to present our annual review and update on levies, attachments, subpoenas and garnishments. The program is designed for bankers with some experience in dealing with these issues. Presenters and written materials will address compliance with trustee process, summonses, tax levies, subpoenas, and federal garnishment rules. Emphasis will be placed on the controversial issue of responding to civil subpoenas and trustee process attachments in a timely fashion and policies and procedures on when banks should provide notice to customers. The program will also offer practical advice to banks seeking to maximize reimbursement of expenses.
