Mass Bankers presents the 2025 Women and Allies in Banking Conference.
The 13th Annual Women and Allies in Banking Conference offers participants the opportunity to learn from accomplished banking leaders and industry experts while networking with peers. Attendees will explore industry trends, gain valuable personal development tools, and expand their professional skill sets.
Through engaging breakout networking sessions, keynote presentations, and panel discussions, participants will discover strategies to become stronger allies, support employee growth, and foster inclusivity within their organizations.
Space is limited. Registrations will not be available after the room capacity has been reached.

Leadership Awards Nomination
Mass Bankers and its Women in Banking Advisory Group are pleased to announce we are accepting Nominations for the 2025 Women and Allies in Banking Achievement Awards. The Awards honor the outstanding achievements of remarkable individuals who have demonstrated leadership, professionalism, and community service in the banking and finance industries. Please act before the March 23nd deadline.

The course ID for the Women and Allies in Banking conference is C-2836. Banks with 50 or fewer employees can be reimbursed 100 percent for the program's cost. <p>Anne P. Tangen joined BankFive in 2020, driving significant investments in technology, infrastructure, and employee development. A former Chief Information Officer, Anne values the blend of personal service and innovative, customer-friendly technology. Her leadership has earned recognition from media, the community, and industry peers.</p><p>Anne has extensive experience in business and product strategy for wealth management, institutional asset management, and cash management services. She began her career at Fidelity Investments, spent 14 years in leadership roles, and later joined State Street Bank to launch a wealth management business generating $90MM annually. Prior to BankFive, she was Chief Operating Officer at The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod. </p><p>A graduate of the University of Vermont, Anne founded the Alden Pettengill Foundation and serves on multiple boards, including the SouthCoast Community Foundation and the Massachusetts Bankers Association. Under her leadership, BankFive has earned accolades like The Women’s Edge Top 100 Women-Led Businesses. Anne frequently speaks at industry conferences and received the 2023 Northeast Women of Banking Award.</p>

April Lewis
<p>April Lewis is a woman on a mission to improve the employee experience and develop leaders in organizations. As the President and CEO of the A. Lewis Academy, Inc., a coaching and consulting firm, she uses her extensive training and leadership background to transform organizations from the inside out through proven workplace wellness strategies. Her guiding principle is "Human first, Employee second."</p><p>April's passion for teaching professionals how to work well has led her to become a keynote speaker and consultant for Fortune 100 companies, organizations, and education institutions across the nation. She served as the Interim Chief Operating Officer of a healthcare system based in Maryland. Despite all of her accomplishments, April remains grounded and passionate about stress-free living. She is also a best-selling author and lover of tacos.</p><p>She served as a combat veteran in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Bright Star in Egypt. Her credentials include being a Certified D.I.S.C Facilitator, Certified Health Coach, Certified Executive Coach, and Certified Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner. April Lewis has truly earned the title of "Leadership and Wellbeing Energizer" and her approach to transformation is a reminder to always put people first. </p>

Diane Darling
<p>To overcome her fear of public speaking, Diane Darling took acting and stand-up comedy classes. That out-of-the-box and strategic mindset have been a contributing factor to her success. She was even the commencement speaker at MIT Charm School (yes, there is such a thing). McGraw-Hill commissioned her to write the definitive book on networking called The Networking Survival Guide, which was published in April 2003 and went into a 2nd printing just 90 days after the book hit the shelves. Her books are in 9 languages.<br> </p>

Mary Gallagher
<p>Mary Gallagher was appointed Commissioner of Banks in May 2019. Before being appointed Commissioner, she served as the DOB's?Chief Operating Officer. As Chief Operating Officer, she oversaw the agency's operational and administrative team, including fiscal oversight, budget and accounting, human resources and staff development, information technology and security, facilities, and vendor management and procurement. She co-chaired the DOB’s strategic planning and was a member of the agency’s Policy Group. </p><p>Before joining the DOB, Ms. Gallagher spent 17 years in the financial services and securities industry in Boston, New York, and London. Her work included foreign exchange and equity market sales and trading roles at Morgan Stanley, State Street Global Markets, and Deutsche Bank. Ms. Gallagher holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Harvard University. </p>

The Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center, 1657 Worcester Road, Framingham, MA 01701 is the host hotel for the conference. The room rate will be $199/per room, per day, plus tax for single or double occupancy. The deadline to register is April 9th.
