2024 Renewable Energy Summit
December 17, 2024
Program Overview
With the rapidly changing environment of renewable energy, it is becoming more and more popular for consumers, from residential homeowners to large commercial entities, to “Go Green”. Further, in keeping with its long history of supporting renewable energy efforts, Massachusetts has recently implemented new consumer-focused programs with an eye on aggressively lowering our state’s carbon emissions to ultimately being carbon neutral by 2050. These programs have opened up a new window for banks to attract new, and assist existing, customers who are looking to wade into the renewable energy sector. This exciting and expansive field of lending is one that every bank should look at adding to its retail or commercial lending portfolio.
We are once again pleased to offer this COMPLIMENTARY virtual seminar – due to our partnership with SunWealth – that brings our members “face-to-face” with the project designers and managers of the state’s latest renewable energy programs all in the comforts of their office or living room. Virtual attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear about major programs currently being offered in the state to assess whether one or more may be right for their institution’s lending portfolio.
This year, we are excited to have representatives from the Massachusetts Community Climate Bank join us to provide an overview of the agency and the resources available to member institutions and your clients.
A question-and-answer segment will follow each presentation.
