We are pleased to extend a cordial invitation to you, as a distinguished leader in the banking industry, to our upcoming New England Conference, which will be held from Wednesday, September 25 through Friday, September 27, at the beautiful Samoset Resort in Samoset Maine. The New England Conference is a major program designed exclusively for CEOs, senior bank management, directors, and associate members offering a unique platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and collaborative opportunities among our esteemed member institutions.

As an influential figure in the banking sector, your participation at this event would greatly contribute to our industry’s collective growth and development. During the conference, you will have the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions on the latest trends, challenges, and innovations shaping the banking landscape. Renowned industry experts and thought leaders will be sharing their expertise, ensuring a comprehensive and enriching experience for all attendees. Should you require any additional information or assistance regarding travel arrangements, accommodations, or any other aspect related to the conference, please do not hesitate to contact Meghan McCarthy, mmccarthy@massbankers.org.

Located in the coastal town of Rockport, just south of Camden, and dating back to 1889, the Samoset Resort is where legacy and luxury meet. From the moment you arrive, you’ll enjoy warm, intuitive service along with elegant accommodations, oceanside dining, an 18-hole championship golf course, named the “Pebble Beach of the East” by Golf Digest, and endless activities. Beyond the resort’s amenities, the towns of Camden, Rockport and Lincolnville are located in the heart of coastal Maine along Penobscot Bay. Rockport and Camden have working harbors full of fishing boats, schooners, and boat yards. These seaside towns have a vibrant artist community – Route 1 is lined with galleries and shops where you can peruse locally made arts and crafts. Special Events Following the reception on Wednesday night, you may dine in one of Camden or Rockport‘s restaurants and sample one of the many local dining options.

The MBA Charitable Foundation Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, September 26 at the Samoset Resort. Suitable for players of all skill levels, the 18-hole championship Samoset Golf Course boasts seven oceanside holes, 14 holes with spectacular views of the Atlantic, and one of the most challenging finishing holes in New England.

Please join us Thursday night for our banquet dinner and raffle that benefits the Massachusetts Bankers Association Charitable Foundation.
