Program Overview

Please join the Association’s leadership on December 18th, for the inaugural, Mass Bankers- Here and Now, a virtual meeting replacing our traditional in- person Regional Meetings. MBA Board Chair Robert Fraser and MBA staff are excited to host this virtual event, and we look forward to gathering with you as we provide a review of 2024 and look ahead to 2025. We hope this outlet will enable a broader cross-section of our members to join us and stay up on the latest industry and association news.

As we have in previous years, we will use this meeting to update our members on new initiatives, emerging industry issues, and policy outcomes.  We also plan to use this time to listen to the membership and hear your concerns on legislative and regulatory policy and operational issues for 2025.  We plan to spotlight our strategic plan strategic priorities, including a new innovation initiative announcement, and ask for feedback on those and other priorities.

The agenda will include:

  • MBA year-end wrap-up, including a report on member engagement, professional development opportunities and an update on the strategic plan implementation.;
  • A look ahead to 2025 – Mass Bankers Elevate! Our new Innovation platform;
  • Federal and State legislative and regulatory outlook;
  • Emerging Leaders Engagement Opportunities;
  • MBA Group Insurance Trust (GIT) spotlight;
  • Our new Association Headquarters; Open House.

We encourage any of our members to attend if it works for your schedule. On behalf of the Association’s leadership and staff, we thank you for your continued support and engagement! We are here for banks to be there!
