Navigating Currency Transaction Reporting with Confidence

Some aspects of currency transaction reports (CTRs) are straightforward, while others can be complex depending on the situation. This program is designed to guide frontline staff through various scenarios, identify best practices, and help navigate common pitfalls.   • Understand and review of the requirements for key field on the Currency Transaction Report (CTR),
  • Accurately complete CTRs for sole proprietorships, legal entities, and other types of account ownership,
  • Recognize the importance of including all available information from your institutor's records,
  • Determine when to select options such as Shared Branching, Multiple Transactions, or Aggregate
    Transactions, AND
  • Avoid common errors in CTR reporting.
