Annual Convention 2025
April 30, 2025 - May 04, 2025
Banking on Leadership: Driving Trust, Growth, and Innovation
Join us at the Massachusetts Bankers Association Annual Convention, hosted at the magnificent Ritz-Carlton Naples from April 30 – May 4, 2025
In an ever-evolving financial landscape, leadership is the cornerstone of trust, the catalyst for growth, and the driver of innovation. This year’s annual convention theme, Banking on Leadership: Driving Trust, Growth, and Innovation brings together visionary leaders, industry experts, and forward-thinking professionals to explore how leadership can shape the future of banking.
Our convention is a premier education program for bankers and directors, offering an unparalleled networking opportunity for member institutions and Associate members. Attendees will engage with nationally recognized experts addressing key issues impacting the financial services industry in New England and beyond. The event will feature thought-provoking keynotes, interactive workshops, and dynamic discussions, exploring innovative strategies for building a thriving organizational culture, enhancing collaboration, driving transformative innovation, and leveraging economic insights to achieve sustainable success.
This event is an essential opportunity for senior leaders to connect, learn, and drive innovation in the banking sector. If the CEO is unable to attend, we encourage sending a senior executive to ensure your organization gains valuable insights, builds strategic relationships, and explores transformative ideas to shape the future of the industry.

Organizational Culture: A Key to a High-Performing Bank

Steve Hopkins, Director, Organizational Performance, WIPFLI Culture has become a top priority for leaders as banks navigate change and look for ways to improve business results and long-term effectiveness. Culture impacts everything from attracting and retaining talent to problem-solving, team collaboration, customer service, and the achievement of business strategies. Unfortunately, culture is not readily understood by the leaders charged with advancing the desired culture of the bank. They are often simply asked to change it without the benefit of understanding what the cultural gaps may be and/or what levers for change to focus on. We will provide insights into what really drives culture, how it can be assessed, where leaders can focus attention to have the greatest impact and touch upon the difference between culture and employee engagement. Cultural change is possible! |
